Common chat acronyms are important to know for ease in creating simple and quick communication through online forums, emails, and even texting. The internet is chock full of different ways users can type shorthand versions of what they are saying. Some get so long in terms of what letters or symbols to use, it makes more sense to type the whole word or phrase out anyway. In most cases, however, it reduces the time it takes to write entire sentences out in full.
